Help us raise awareness about the impact of violence on the lives of children on Saturday October 19. It will be a mile walk to the park.
Espanola Valley Schools, The District of Pojoaque Schools, and McCurdy Charter schools are joining the Crisis Center of Northern NM in an effort to raise awareness of the impact of Domestic Violence of Children.
Children who are exposed to violence in the home carry many social issues such as poor bullying, depression, poor academic performance and drug addiction. It is crucial that children exposed or witnessed of violence seek help.
Join us on October 13, 2018 at 9 A.M at the Cities of Gold Parking in Pojoaque to start the walk. After, we’ll meet at 11:00 in Espanola at the Santa Claran Casino Parking lot. We’ll walk to the Valdez Park and end the walk with messages from our community leaders.
Everyone is encouraged to enter the poster contest. The winner receives $250 cash prize. Contact us for more details.
